Security at Taxmiser
You trust Taxmiser with the most private numbers in your life: what you earn, what you own and what you plan to pass on. This page explains, in plain words, how that information is protected.
The short version
Your information is encrypted, locked to your account, never sold and never shared with advertisers. Payments are handled by PayPal, so we never see your card. You can download everything or delete everything, any time, from your own account page.

Your information is yours
We never sell your personal information, we never share it with advertisers, and we never use what you save to train outside AI models. Your plans exist to save you money, nothing else.
Only you can open your plans
Every saved plan, return, strategy and document is locked to your account at the database level. Even our own team cannot browse member plans, because access rules block anyone who is not you.
Encryption in transit and at rest
Everything between your device and Taxmiser travels over encrypted connections, and stored information sits on encrypted infrastructure. Your password is never stored in readable form.
We never see your card
Payments are handled entirely by PayPal on their own secure pages. Your card number, bank details and PayPal password never touch Taxmiser. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Anonymous where it matters
The forum works under a nickname you choose, so you can ask about money worries without attaching them to your name. Verified professionals earn their badge through a licence check, not by paying.
Admin access is role based
Only accounts with a verified admin role can open member tools, and those roles are stored separately from profiles so they cannot be granted from the browser. Nobody can upgrade themselves.
Guarded against tampering
The database rejects changes that try to rewrite someone else's rows, self-verify a professional badge, self-upgrade a membership or undo moderation. These checks run below the app, so they hold even if the app is bypassed.
Download everything, any time
Your account page lets you download a full copy of everything you have saved. No waiting, no emailing support, no charge.
Delete and it is gone
Close your account and your plans, returns, messages and profile are removed after a short safety window, and any active paid plan is cancelled first. Deletion is permanent.
What that means day to day
- Sign in with Google or a password, both protected by the same encryption banks use.
- Your visits are counted with a random code, not your identity, so statistics cannot be traced back to you.
- Feedback and support messages go only to the site owner, never to other members.
- The payslip decoder reads your document without keeping a copy of it.
